One-Word Summary: Bizarre
So this was an Amazon Best of the Month, August 2009 choice. I'm a little behind the curve reading it I supposed but whatever. I read a little about the book - it seemed like a combination of Harry Potter and the Chronicles of Narnia - cool right? Well, yes, but this one was bizarre, and NOT appropriate for children.
I read a lot. I forget books that I read. This is my place to keep track of said books. Spoilers included.

Persuasion - Jane Austen
Date Started: 9/12/11
Date Finished: 9/17/11
One-Word Summary: Austen-y
I remember reading Pride and Prejudice in high school and thinking it was SO difficult to get through. Fast forward a decade (and a few more years) and I can't get enough Jane Austen. And I find it incredibly easy to read - what was my deal in high school? While that may never be known at long last I finally read the last of her classics, Persuasion (written in 1816, the year before she died).

One-Word Summary: Terrifying
I had this book sitting in my Amazon wish list for a while so I was excited when my mom sent it to me after she had finished it. I started it immediately and all I can say is wow. This was an amazing book. Terrifying, yes, but amazing.
